Connecting your CRM
Sync Homie with HubSpot or Attio so intro suggestions match your pipeline.
Connecting your CRM lets Homie see which accounts you are already working, so it stops suggesting warm intros to companies your team has won, lost, or is about to close.
Connecting
Organization admins can open Settings, then Integrations, and connect HubSpot or Attio. You approve access on your CRM's own login screen, and Homie never sees or stores your CRM password. Salesforce is listed as coming soon.
You can connect both. When both CRMs contain the same person, Homie shows the record from the CRM it synced most recently.
What you see
People in your network carry a CRM marker showing which system holds the record. Click it to open the record itself. Hover it to see where that person stands, including the deal value when there is one.
What Homie brings in
Homie reads your existing CRM records and matches them to people in your network, so you see the opportunities you already have instead of duplicates. For HubSpot, that means contacts and deals. For Attio, Homie reads People, Deals, and staged List entries because different Attio workspaces keep their sales funnel in different places. Matching needs real identifying evidence, so a shared first name is never enough to link two people.
Homie refreshes connected CRMs weekly. An admin can also run a refresh from the same settings screen; large imports resume where the previous run stopped.
Organization admins can review the result under Settings → Exclusions. CRM-managed exclusions show the source, CRM stage, matched people, and how many existing warm paths are currently hidden. Change the stage in your CRM—or disconnect it—to remove an automatic exclusion. The manual list remains available on the same page for accounts that are not in your CRM.
Suggestions that match your pipeline
Once a CRM is connected, three kinds of account stop appearing in intro suggestions:
| Held back | Why |
|---|---|
| Customers | You already sell to them. |
| Lost and churned | The deal already has an answer. |
| Deals about to close | Sales is closing them right now, for example contract sent, in negotiation, or waiting on signature. |
Everyone earlier in the funnel stays visible. Leads, qualified accounts, and booked demos and meetings are exactly who a warm intro is for.
This works at account level: if a company is already a customer, their colleagues are not treated as fresh opportunities either.
Nothing is deleted, and your network stays intact. The same rule is applied before Homie evaluates or saves new suggestions and again before paths, Slack alerts, or email digests are delivered, so an answered account cannot leak through one surface while disappearing from another.
Sending intro progress to your CRM
When an intro moves forward in Homie, Homie records that progress in each connected CRM. HubSpot creates a deal when a meeting is booked and advances that deal as the intro progresses. Attio updates the person's status; it reads existing Deals and Lists for visibility and exclusions but does not write to those objects.
HubSpot also syncs in the other direction. If a sales rep advances or closes the matching HubSpot deal, the intro in Homie follows on the next refresh. Pre-terminal stages only move forward, while an explicit won or lost result can replace the current Homie stage.
If no CRM is connected
Nothing is hidden. Homie will not filter your pipeline on a guess, so every prospect stays visible until your CRM says otherwise. The same applies if you disconnect: Homie stops using CRM data for filtering straight away.
