Setup and sync
Install the Chrome extension and sync your LinkedIn connections.
The Homie Chrome extension syncs your LinkedIn connections to keep your network data fresh.
Installation
Install the Homie extension from the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the permissions. The extension works on Chrome and Chromium-based browsers like Edge and Brave.
Signing in
After installation, click the Homie extension icon in your browser toolbar and sign in with the same account you use for the Homie web app. This links your browser sync to your organization.
How sync works
The extension uses your active LinkedIn session to fetch your connections in the background. You don't need to browse LinkedIn or scroll your connections page.
Sync can start automatically after the extension initializes, on its scheduled background interval, or when you click Manually sync in Settings > Integrations. You do need to be signed into LinkedIn in the same browser so the extension can access your LinkedIn session.
First-degree sync imports your direct LinkedIn connections. Second-degree sync uses your ICP settings and warm connections to find relevant people reachable through those connections.
Troubleshooting
If connections are not appearing, check that the extension is signed in, that you are signed into LinkedIn in the same browser, and that the extension can reach Homie. You can also start a sync manually from Settings > Integrations.
