Network

Your network

Choose an introducer, explore who they know, and find a warm path.

Use Network to find someone you know who could introduce you to the right person.

Choose whose network to explore

The My network selector shows your connections and people who share their network with you. Switch to [Organization]’s network to include your teammates’ connections. The selector shows your profile picture or your team’s logo so you can see which network you are using.

All people brings connections and shared networks into one table. Search for someone you know, sort by Relationship, or use Has a network to explore to show people with available network data. When a person appears through several teammates, the row menu lets you choose who to explore through.

Unknown means Homie has not calculated that relationship score. Not available means there is no network data to explore yet; it does not mean the person has no connections.

Choose your go-to people

Go-to people are the people you would ask for an introduction. Star one of your connections in All people to keep them in the Go-to people tab and prioritize warm paths through them. Select the star again to remove that priority.

In the team view, you can prioritize your own connections. Your teammates’ connection rows keep their original ownership.

Explore an individual network

Select View network on a person’s row. Their page opens on Suggested introductions, with a count of paths Homie has already found through this person. Review the cards, or use Show more introductions to load another page. Switch to All connections to explore their full available network.

The filters, export, and view controls sit directly above the connections table. Use them to narrow the network by role, company, or other available profile details. Draft intro request opens a draft with that person selected as the introducer. Review it before taking the sending action.

Where Casper is enabled, the floating Ask about [name]’s network prompt opens a sidebar beside that person’s network. Ask about a company, role, person, or former colleagues; Casper searches through the selected introducer. Casper can apply keyword and relationship filters and open All connections to show matches in the table. You can edit or clear those filters yourself. Choose Request intro on a person Casper finds to open an introduction draft through the person whose network you’re exploring. Review the message before sending. You can keep exploring while Casper works, and closing the sidebar keeps your conversation.

Use the breadcrumb or your browser’s Back button to return to Network. Your directory filters, sorting, and page are kept in the URL.

Read the relationship evidence

Relationship is Homie’s score for the connection between two people. Open the score to see the signals behind it, such as working together or mutual connections. A strong relationship explains a route to someone; it does not by itself make them a good prospect.

A person’s visible network can be incomplete. It depends on what has been synced or observed by Homie. Team network access also depends on your plan.
