Connecting LinkedIn

Link your LinkedIn profile and sync your network.

LinkedIn provides the relationship data Homie uses. Connecting your profile identifies your LinkedIn account, and the Chrome extension syncs your network for relationship scoring and intro paths.

Why connect LinkedIn

Your LinkedIn connections are the raw data behind warm introductions. Homie analyzes professional relationships, shared experiences, and engagement patterns to calculate how warm each connection path really is.

Adding your profile

During onboarding (or in Settings), paste your LinkedIn profile URL. Homie validates the URL and enriches your own profile. The format should be linkedin.com/in/your-slug.

To map your network, install the Chrome extension and sign into it with the same Homie account. The extension uses your active LinkedIn session to sync your connections.

What data we use

Homie uses your LinkedIn profile URL to enrich your profile details, such as your name, role, company, and avatar when available. Your direct and second-degree network data comes from the Chrome extension sync. Homie uses that relationship data to calculate relationship scores and intro paths.

Privacy and security

Your LinkedIn data is stored securely and only used within your organization. We never post on your behalf, send messages, or modify your LinkedIn profile in any way.
