Write an intro request your contact can forward

Your contact shouldn’t have to write your pitch for you. Once you’ve found a warm path, ask your AI assistant for a short request and a separate note they can forward.

  1. Check the path

Give your assistant the prospect’s name or LinkedIn handle. Ask it to find the connector and check how they know each other before writing the message.

  2. Explain why you want to meet

Add what your company does and a reason this conversation could be useful to the prospect. Name a problem you can help with instead of making a vague offer to chat.

  3. Review both messages

Read the request to your contact and the forwardable note. Check the names, the shared history, and the claims about your product. Keep the wording you’d use yourself.

  4. Ask your contact

Send the request through your usual conversation or use Homie’s intro request flow. The MCP prompt drafts the text; it doesn’t send a message for you.

Try this prompt

Use Homie to find a warm path to [prospect name or LinkedIn handle]. Check how the connector knows them. My company does [what your product helps with]. I’d like to meet because [specific reason this could be useful to the prospect]. Draft a short request to the connector, then a separate note they can forward. Use only the relationship facts Homie returns. Don’t invent a shared interest or overstate how well anyone knows each other. Make the ask easy to decline, and leave both messages here for me to review.

What to do with the result

You’ll have two drafts: a request for your contact and a note for the prospect. Edit them before sending so they sound like you.

A follow-up to try

Make this sound more like something I’d send to a former colleague. Keep the reason to meet, but cut the sales language.
