See who a contact could introduce you to

“Who can I introduce you to?” is easier to answer with a name. Look through the part of a contact’s network Homie knows about, then choose a few people who fit your target customer.

  1. Start with someone you know

Use the name or LinkedIn handle of a contact in your Homie network. This works well before a catch-up with a former colleague, customer, or investor.

  2. Find relevant people in their network

Ask your assistant to use list_person_network and compare the people it finds with your ICP. Check the coverage: Homie may know only part of this person’s network.

  3. Keep the ask small

Choose one or two names with a clear reason to meet. Ask your contact whether they’d feel comfortable introducing you, and give them a short note to pass along.

Try this prompt

I’m catching up with [contact name or LinkedIn handle]. Use Homie to read my ICP, then use list_person_network to find relevant people this contact knows. Show each person’s role and company, why they might be a fit, and the relationship signals available. Check network coverage and be clear if Homie only knows part of their network. Don’t treat an empty result as proof they have no connections. Exclude people we’ve already asked for an intro to. Help me choose up to two people to ask about, with a short reason for each.

What to do with the result

You’ll have specific names to bring to the conversation, along with a reason for asking. Your contact can tell you how well they know each person.

A follow-up to try
